Kristopher J. Cowles, RICP®, CRPCTM, Investment Advisor Representative

Kris began his career in the late 90s when he opened an Edward Jones Investments branch office after graduating from college with degrees in Economics and Business Administration from The State University of New York Oswego.

In 2001, having a desire to work in the institutional side of the investment management business, Kris moved on to Invesco Funds where he helped manage large retirement plans of Fortune 500 corporations before moving into the separately managed account and mutual fund areas of the firm working in the Atlanta and Denver offices.

Kris spent 2005 to 2017 in Seattle as the Regional Vice President with ING and Allianz, overseeing all aspects of those companies' operations and became recognized as an industry leader in the area of retirement income planning. During this time, he delivered thousands of educational presentations as a subject matter specialist on retirement and financial planning topics.

In 2017, Kris moved to South Florida to be closer to family, again opening his own firm to offer his clients the very best unbiased retirement advice.

Additionally, Kris is the Managing Director of Medigap Plans of America LLC, focused on educating seniors who are turning 65 or enrolling in Medicare to understand their health care options.

Kris holds the Series 65 securities license, a life and health insurance license, and the Chartered Retirement Planning Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorTM (CRPCTM) and Retirement Income Certified Planner® (RICP®) designations.

Kris and his wife, Jamie, and their four children reside in Tequesta, Florida, where they can be found most weekends at the beach or paddling around the sandbar. In the winter months, they enjoy spending time in Stowe, Vermont, skiing and playing in the snow. Jamie is a lifelong resident of Palm Beach County and a 4th-grade teacher at The Benjamin School.
